COVID-19: Important Credit Union Information


Maui Teachers Federal Credit Union is open for business from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, though due to growing concerns about COVID-19 we have temporarily suspended our Shared Branching services to other credit union members.

As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our priority is the health and safety of our employees and members and have taken the following measures:

  • Assess the work environment and member area to ensure proper distancing;

  • Enact stricter cleaning protocols;  Allow employees to wear protective gear including but not limited to gloves and mask;

  • Enacted a personal Travel Policy and restricted business travel, and in an abundance of caution and as a courtesy to others: If you have traveled to or from Maui please do not enter our office unless you have self-quarantined for a minimum of 14 days;

  • Continuous review of member contact and prolonged employee exposure.

  • Call ahead for transactions (ie: travelers checks, teller checks, loans, new account openings, withdrawals) so we can prep it and have it ready;
